Welcome to my Communication & Leadership Capstone landing page.
My journey in the program began in May 2020, serving as the perfect way to help keep me busy during the pandemic, and I have finally reached the end, four years later.
The focus of my capstone project is on building trust in the workplace through gathering feedback, taking action, and communicating. In my professional experience, leaders often hear from employees that their feedback doesn't matter or that they do not feel that anything has been done so the employees feel they can no longer speak up. Whether or not action has been taken, it has clearly not been communicated well enough, leading to impacts to morale, productivity, and trust. Leaning
into my experience, I wanted to explore how leaders can gather feedback, take action, and most importantly, communicate regularly back to employees to help build trust.
